Take a tour inside Air Force One

Air Force One: Perhaps one of the most technologically-advanced, safest birds in the sky. But what’s hidden away inside that makes this plane so special? That’s what you’ll find inside this special feature, Inside Air Force One. But first, a bit about the plane itself.

According to HowStuffWorks.com, “‘Air Force One’ isn’t technically a plane: It’s simply the radio call name for any U.S. Air Force plane carrying the president of the United States. As soon as the president steps aboard an Air Force plane, that plane is referred to as Air Force One by the crew and all air traffic controllers, in order to avoid confusion with any other planes in the area.” So essentially any plane can be Air Force One, but only two Boeing 747-200Bs (above) are special enough to cart around the President of the United States.

Now let’s take a look at the inside….
