Four Hotels for a Free Lobster Dinner for Two

Nothing goes with summer quite like the cracking of lobster shells (and wearing a bib, even if you’re a grown man). You can get a lobster anywhere, but if you’re within a few hours of the New England coast, the whole experiences changes dramatically. This summer, four hotels are willing to give you and your guest a free lobster dinner when you stay only one night. Of course, it isn’t a lobster dinner without corn on the cob, clam chowder and blueberry pie, all of which you should expect to find on your table, as well.

Rates vary, ranging from $179 to $299, depending on the hotel, but it comes out to a savings of around $150 at each of them. To take advantage of this deal, check out the properties below:

The “REAL” Topnotch Resort and Spa

Props to the team at Topnotch Resort and Spa for participating in yesterday’s April Fool’s prank on new spa amenities in Vermont’s snow-capped mountains. The real Topnotch, however, is nothing short of warm, comforting, and luxurious.

Consistently ranked as one of the Top 10 spas in the US, Topnotch spa is referred to the “jewel of the mountaintop” by those who have visited. Complete with 35,0000 square feet of zen space, the Topnotch spa team is available to cater to your every ache, pain and relaxation needs. The more than 120 spa treatments and services were devised by Spa Director Alexandra Sharpe and take into account the passions of her team.

“When we devise our treatments they are not only unique to Topnotch, but yield true results. Our therapists are invested in what they do, and it shows in the service and treatment,” said Sharpe.

Among the many offerings in the spa are three heated swimming pools – a large indoor family pool, and two outdoor pools (one for families and one for adults ages 18 and over). The waterfall whirlpool adds a dramatic effect to the landscape of the Vermont mountains. Guests can take advantage of the spa lounges with fireplaces, steam, sauna, Jacuzzis and juice bars.

If you can’t possibly choose from the hundreds of services, Sharpe recommends one of the signature treatments, which are designed specifically for each individual client.

“The treatments are focused on a variety of elements and use organic oils that are blended in house,” said Sharpe. “Each signature treatment ensures the guest has their own unique individual experience.”

Take a break, relax and don’t worry – no one is going to bury you in the snow. The Topnotch spa is the ultimate retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation in New England.

New Hampshire inn wants you to get dirty this spring

Winter’s starting to turn into spring up in New England, which means pristine white landscapes turn into a brown slop. What do you do with it? The answer might be to smear it all over your body? Well, that’s what The Wentworth by the Sea has in mind. This New Hampshire inn has put together a great package that makes the most of the muddy season.

Head on up to New Castle, New Hampshire, and you’ll receive breakfast for two every morning, a 50-minute organic mud wrap and a sea facial with a bubbling mud back treatment (which sounds absolutely fascinating). Of course, a molten chocolate cake after the treatments in the relaxation room sure doesn’t hurt!

The tab isn’t too bad – only $289 a night (two-night stay Sunday through Thursday required), as long as you use promotion code P42.
