Build Your Own Surfboard

The good folks at hackaday have posted a bit about how
to build your own surfboard. You may have thought that the effort was beyond the ability of mere mortals, but according
to Surfer Steve’s Web site, you can actually do it fairly
simply. Well, sort of.

It is, in Steve’s very words, “dusty, gooey, sweaty, and toxic work”, but if you’re up for the task, the site and
Steve’s book help you choose your materials and take all the required steps to get your hands on a Clark Foam blank and
then cut away, making your own design and fiberglassing the thing in the comfy confines of your own garage.
