Most people this winter are flocking either to their favorite ski area or to warmer climes where they can get by
running around in Bermuda shorts. Which means
according to this piece, that
places like Europe are somewhat empty. No, not as empty as in August, when everyone on the continent seems to flee for
summer, but still very quiet and untraveled. Fares have come down quite a bit, and Europe makes a fine winter
destination. Even though you’ll have to pack a coat to most northern cities, you can still walk the streets of Paris or
Prague and catch some of the continent’s epic museums. Not a bad idea.
