A lot of stuff from travel gear company Tumi can be ridiculously expensive. But that’s because the stuff tends to be very high quality. I actually use the Tumi courier bag to lug my laptop and stacks of magazines around, and I am VERY happy with it. Well, the company also recently unveiled a nice-looking electric adapter that can help you plug in anywhere around the world. The clever one-piece unit provides non-grounded power in over 150 countries. It comes in a nice-looking mesh case and is sold with a USB charger to power most mobile phones, your PDA, and a cigarette lighter adapter. Very useful…but it ain’t cheap (relatively speaking). The unit goes for $50.
