Pology’s October issue is up online, with stories and photos from all corners
of the globe. But I also want to mention their culture blog, which has been
active for about a month now. Each day there are short posts about interesting and often unusual cultural happenings
around the world. I like that they provide a brief overview as well as several links where readers can go to learn more
about unique travel destinations, indigenous groups, or cultural preservation efforts. Poke through their archives to
learn about the Bedouin way of life, the
Dogon of Mali or the heart of
Alpine culture.
And we must give a nod to our Weblogs Inc. friend and Divester writer,
Willy Volk, who is one of the folks serving up these cultural gems. Welcome to the blog world, Pology.
