Tourism boards offer all kinds of free promotional materials and
brochures to help you plan trips and vacations. But there are quite a few tourist organizations, usually in major
cities, that also offer their own free tours.
Here are links to a few popular programs, but be sure to research this before your next trip to a big city; it is a
nice way to start off a visit especially to a place you are unfamiliar with. These tours are usually run by local
volunteers who love their hometown so much that they will often divulge some of the best city secrets.
