One for the Road: By the Seat of My Pants

Lonely Planet released its first humor anthology in late September.
By the Seat of My Pants was edited by
none other than Don George, a
favorite travel writer of ours. The collection of 31 stories was compiled from entries in a competition on the Lonely
Planet website, so the variety of voices included in the book ranges from newbie travel writer to seasoned veteran.
Contributor Rolf Potts
shares his
scoop
, with links to info on some of the authors who have selections in the book. It’s the perfect size to thrown
in your pack on your next trip, and is guaranteed to provide laughs about the unpredictable shenanigans that can happen
while traveling.
