Once while driving along the road near Aspen,
Colorado, I stumbled upon a view of the Maroon Belles that would have made a fine cover shot for a travel glossy.
Sadly, I had no camera with me.

Well, Hoot1, seems to have found the same, or a similar spot, and nailed this amazing shot of the Belles
caught in the fiery throes of fall.
