Perhaps someone thought they were acting out a scene from Thelma and Louise. Or maybe tey just wanted to get a MUCH closer look at the canyon. Whatever the case, this is both rather tragic and odd. Seems yesterday a helicopter crew happened upon the wreckage of a car that had gone off the edge of the wester rim of the Grand Canyon. The car and a body were discovered about 500 feet below the rim in an area rather eerily called the Abyss.
