We’ve had a great run with our Talking Travel feature so far. In March, we sat down with Lois Pryce, who chronicled her solo motorcycle trip from Alaska to the southern tip of South America in her book, Lois on the Loose. April saw two great conversations, one with American Shaolin’s Matthew Polly, and another with Tim Ferriss, author of The 4-Hour Work Week.
May is turning out to be an even bigger month for Talking Travel. Here’s a sneak peak of what’s to come:
- Talking Travel with Iris Bahr, author of Dork Whore: My Travels Through Asia as a Twenty-Year-Old Pseudo-Virgin. You may also know her from such shows as Curb Your Enthusiasm, King of Queens, The Drew Carey Show, and Friends.
- Talking Travel with Reid Stowe and Soanya Ahmad, a boyfriend-girlfriend duo who are currently sailing around the world for 1,000 days without getting off the boat. They’re attempting to break the record of 657 days at sea without touching land, set by an Australian in the 1980s.
- Talking Travel with Susan Griffith, contributing editor for Work Abroad for Transitions Abroad, co-editor of Work Abroad, and author of Work Your Way Around the World.
- Talking Travel with Barbara Sjoholm, co-founder of Seal Press, and author of Incognito Street: How Travel Made Me a Writer, as well a variety of other fiction and non-fiction titles.
Be sure and keep an eye out for these in the coming weeks.
