1.  If you’re on your honeymoon,
keep it under wraps at first.  Travel companies realize that your honeymoon is an event where you’re more likely
to splurge, and they may price accordingly;

2.  Don’t wait until the last minute to get or renew your
passport, since often the price for application or renewal increases the less time the government has to process it;
and my personal favourite,

3.  Don’t forget to trash the "cookies" in your internet browser
— travel companies may quote you prices higher than what’s available based on your spending history with them, by
simply using your cookies.
