Daily gear deal – T-Mobile prepaid Samsung phone + $25 credit for $30

by Scott Carmichael on

Our daily deal for this morning is for a T-Mobile prepaid mobile phone with a bonus $25 prepaid card. This Samsung Stripe GSM phone is a step above most basic prepaid phones, as it has Bluetooth and a camera.

The phone is on sale for just $29.99. Now, you are probably wondering why I’m linking to a prepaid phone when most of you probably already have a decent (smart) phone.

Well, at just $30, this makes a brilliant little backup phone, plus it is great for anyone visiting the US who wants a cheap way to make some calls when they visit us.

The other reason is that this phone can be used with any T-Mobile SIM card, which means current subscribers to T-Mobile will be able to pop their SIM card in the phone and use it.

The phone comes with a charger, hands-free headset and SIM card with 10 minutes starter airtime.

Daily gear deal – Logitech cordless laser mouse for $15

by Scott Carmichael on

Today’s deal is for a Logitech cordless optical mouse. Carrying a cordless mouse is perfect if you need to get some work done on the road and don’t want to deal with the trackpad on your netbook or notebook.

The mouse features a small cordless receiver that snaps into the bottom, 6 months of use off a single battery and will work on Windows and Mac machines.

With a low price like this, there is of course one thing you’ll need to know – the mouse is refurbished, which means it was once returned to the vendor and has been brought back to its “as new” condition.

Still, if you can deal with a great mouse that doesn’t come in a snazzy retail box, then this is a fantastic deal at just $14.99, especially since it comes with free shipping.

Daily gear deal – Energizer Energi To Go iPod Battery Charger shipped for $7

by Scott Carmichael on

Today’s daily gear deal passed through Gadling a month ago, but recently dropped to the silly low price of just $7.

The Energizer Energi to Go Battery charger is compatible with the iPhone (1st gen and 3g), the 4th gen iPod nano and the 1st and 2nd gen iPod touch.

The device is the epitome of simplicity – you pop 2 AA batteries in it (included), plug your iPhone or iPod into the dock, and let it charge.

2 Energizer Lithium batteries should be able to provide 3 full charges for an iPod nano, 2 full charges for the iPod Touch and one full charge for an iPhone.

The product weighs less than 2 ounces, and the dock connector folds into the unit, making it perfect for carrying in your bag for that not so unlikely event that your iPhone or iPod is drained by the time you get home.

This product normally retails for as much as $40, but Buy.com is trying to get rid of them for just $7! That nice low price even includes free shipping, so you can’t really afford not to pick one up.
