These days, I’m SERIOUSLY missing scuba diving — it’s been a year since I’ve been at a decent beach, and about 3 years since I strapped a can of air on my back. This fun shot captured by wetboxers of his divemaster in the Philippines has just about put me over the edge. *sigh*

Here at Gadling, we believe strongly in the separation of church and blog. But as today is Good Friday, I’m attempting to make myself feel better for not going to church by posting this photo of a re-enactment of the crucifixion taken earlier today by Gadling fave wetboxers in the Filipino city of San Fernando.

Gadling fave StrudelMonkey gave us this great shot of a sunset taken from White Beach on the Philippine island of Boracay. The island is one of the Philippines’ top tourist destinations, and gorgeous sunsets like these must be part of the reason why.

In honor of the NCAA men’s college basketball tournament, which began in earnest yesterday, here’s a photo by flickr user wetboxers of a seaside basketball court in the Ilocos Sur province in the Philippines.
While this court isn’t the site of any March Madness games this year, an unnamed source tells me it’s in the running to host the Final Four in 2017. We’ll keep you posted.
