Debra Corbeil and Dave Bouskill are known as Canada’s Adventure Couple and have immersed themselves into the culture of 45 nations during their travels for 13 years as they they have climbed, paddled, hiked and biked their way through 5 continents. Today’s photo Dave took in China. In his words:
Known as China’s Romance Capital, West Lake in Hangzhou is the setting for the famous folk tale, The Legend of the White Snake. It is a tragic love story that has been passed down through the generations. Living on through folklore and fantasy, people flock to West Lake every weekend to celebrate their love. One can understand why this lake has inspired such a story. It’s beauty is captivating and at sunset even more so.
