An underwater MP3 player?

Our sister (brother?) site
Engadget.com takes a look at a fascinating new MP3 player
with bizarre technology. The first thing that came to mind for me was using this while scuba diving, although there is
no indication that the device can handle extreme depths.  There are several companies that make these underwater
players including Oceanic, but if you take a look at the
review on CNET, you’ll see
how big the thing is…big and kind of clumsily encased in plastic, obviously to deal with the pressures of being
underwater. So if you’re desperate for underwater tunes, it might be worth it to wait it out until they get the design
worked out.
