Reid Bramblett’s excellent advice and
content site has got some advice on how to figure out the best way to get from one place to another for as cheap as
possible. The site overall is chock full of useful information, but take a look at the
section on airline travel, which provides info about Europe’s
no-frills carriers, and how best to use bidding sites like Priceline and hone your bidding techniques, and a list of
useful travel newsletters (and non-useful ones…spam-happy ones that should be avoided). I found the
bidding section particularly useful since there are several
services out there that provide this kind of service and/or related services. Priceline can also be confusing for the
first-time user and the explanation here helps a lot.
