Going South

Personal travel journals have come so far from the tattered notebooks you used to keep in
your backpack. There really are some excellent sites out there that let people spill out their vagabonding guts on the
road. For example, follow the

daily musings
of Jake Dury from Chicago as he explores Latin America wit his mom and dad (who is, presumably,
not nicknamed “The Fat Man”).

Since leaving Chi-town back in July, Jake’s been through much of Central America and now find himself in Arequipa,
Peru. The writing is basic, but it has some wit and you can’t help but feel stirrings of envy as you follow Jake’s
digital footsteps.
