Have you caught any of Rob Gifford’s
amazing radio stories on NPR about
China? If not, do so. Now. This is superb story-telling. True travel audio. Gifford leaves from Shanghai and cuts
through the heart of this massive and complex country, 3000 miles, meeting people who’s stories would never otherwise
be told. The picture that emerges of where China is today from listening to these stories will likely change your
entire perception of the country. Sit and grab a cup of coffee. And listen.
(btw: I wish NPR would make these stories easily available for my ipod. I know I can get some shows on Audible.com,
but that’s not enough. I need a button right there that says, download to your ipod. Charge me. I’d pay.)
