OK, it took a while to get going today as our team was confronted with technical difficulties
and a maddening lack of Internet connectivity at the Javits. But it was a sedate first day anyway, what with the
weather being fairly miserable, it being a weekday, and the expo itself really not starting until 1:30.
That said, I am very fired up by the range of amazing trips that are available out there. I’ve been wandering just
the first and second row of exhibitors here and already I can say there are about fifty things I want to do. More in a
moment.
The picture here, by the way, is of the big inflated diver that greets you at the Javits. Kind of cheesy, but
whatever. I had an odd compulsion to stab it with my pen.
