Fly the Friendly Skies…But Don’t Drink the Water

And you thought the food was bad. Turns out
the water ain’t so good
either. According to a study and series of tests by the Environmental Protection Agency, about one in six airliners had
drinking water that failed to meet federal safety standards. The tests produced positive results for presence of
bacteria in 29 of 169 randomly selected passenger aircraft carrying domestic and international passengers. The tests
were done on water from galley water taps and lavatory faucets on planes at 14 airports throughout the United States.
Gross.

But wait a minute: who the hell drinks the water in an airplane bathroom?
