I’ve read only a few things by author Redmond O’Hanlon, but
this book seems to good to pass up.
Called Trawler, O’Hanlon’s
newest book is reviewed in today’s NYT. I’m going to get my hands on it and post a review ASAP. O’Hanlon, who is better
known for plying the extra-damp rain forests and other exotic locales, gets onto a Scottish deep-sea fishing boat
headed into the North Atlantic waters in January, “the very worst time of year,” when storm winds are enough to blow
men off the deck of a boat. The stuff of his I’ve read had me laughing myself silly, so I am hopeful this one will be
the same.
