zone to go. Leaders of Qatar are putting mega bucks into the countries tourism industry and are ambitious to have
at least a million visitors a year by 2010. CNN
reports, Qatar has eased visa restrictions for Westerners and that the Muslim country is open to Western
lifestyle. With the new development plan in progress, the country should be ready for the curious and
early vacationer by September of 2006. If you’re pondering ahead and thinking Dubai, consider Doha,
Qatar and be on the look out for beach and island resorts, more sports facilities, an Education City and a new
airport. Sounds like they’ve set up a good five year plan.
