As someone who proposed to his wife in a helicopter over Manhattan (sadly, not my own, but one I paid $65 for the
ride), I’m impressed and inspired by the many novel and memorable ways guys pop the question. So it was cool to come
across this article in the Times about the
many ways people in New York City ask for a hand in marriage. From the Museum of Natural History, to the zoo, to sky
writing, to (copy cat!) a helicopter, to hiring a fake film crew, the ways it is done these days are varied and
creative. So how do they propose in, say, Dubuque?
