Rock climbing has
taken its share of lives over the years as ballsy climbers attempt to solo more and more difficult routes. So it’s
cool to see climbers try something where the technical challenge remains high, but the death potential drops
significantly.
Men’s Journal has got
a piece this month on deep water soloing
in Majorca with climber Chris Sharma. According the Sharma, the greatest danger of this type of climbing is the
somewhat painful saltwater enema resulting from an open-legged fall, which, hey, might be something you actually
enjoy.
