The Philly Inquirer has a piece on a pretty
neat-o way to hit the slopes. It’s also
no big secret, since ski-biking has been around for ages. However, you don’t see it as much
in some areas and Allen Holder shares his first hand experience in Keystone, Colorado where it’s a bit popular.
Quite simply they are bikes whose front and back wheels have been replaced with skis and they’re supposed to be
pretty easy to ride. I’ve actually never heard of ski-biking before, though the fact that it is around doesn’t
surprise me. Then again I’m never near the cold weather either.
