Fossett Makes History

He did it. Despite fears that he would run out of fuel, explorer and adventurer Steve Fossett has completed the
first-ever around-the-globe solo flight. Touching down just a bit
ago, at the Kansas airport where he started he stepped out of the cockpit to a warm greeting of a roaring crowd and
into history.
