Rock Touching A No-No

Poor Madelaine Gierc only wanted to use a rock or shall we say a piece of marble from the
Acropolis as a prop for one of her spring break pictures while in
Greece.  She didn’t want to take it or keep it at all, but little did the 16-year-old Canadian tourist know
that touching the rock would land her in jail for two days.  Eek!  It’s the tiny things like this that get us
in major trouble in other countries because we don’t pay attention to the rules.  I’m not sure whether or not
they were even posted, but don’t get caught off guard.  The
LA Times runs the
story
on Madelaine and also on some other tips that can save you jail time and money on the go.  They also
mention “Let’s Go” a great guide to look into for such information.
