Or so might go the cries of certain fish who find the noise on a particular reef not to their liking. In the
New York Times today there is an article about the
way that fish tune in to the sound of a reef, deciding whether it is to their liking if, say, lots of noise shrimp are
around…some of whom love Led Zepplin, I understand.
It also has potential as a kind of pied piper effect if they can use sounds to lure fish to artificial reefs. It’s
pretty interesting stuff. Willy posted about it over
at divester, too, but I thought it was
interesting enough to post here as well.
