Here’s one for the suburban folk. The New York Times
runs a piece on how to take your kids to Napa Valley…that is, how wineries are creating distractions so the kids
keep busy while mom and dad can get sloshed. The reason I am posting this is that I just saw Sideways, which I liked,
but didn’t adore. I mean, it was funny and all, and the acting was good, and I craved a Pinot Noir for a day or so
afterward, but it was also a bit flat, perhaps even boring at times.
No matter. Whether you disdain Merlot or not, you will still find the article of interest because who, after all,
doesn’t want to go to wine country?
