Buenos Aires Returns

A

nice piece
in the Baltimore Sun about one of my favorite cities in South America: Buenos Aires. The Argentine
economic crisis hurt tourism in the country for several years, but now the city of Portenos is coming back.
Buenos Aires is the closest to a
European city as you will find in this hemisphere. The broad avenues, elegant architecture, and the sizzling
night-life, make it a great (albeit often expensive) stop if you’re traveling through South America.

The

article
covers the basics: the great food, the sights, and the city’s heroic efforts (despite snubbing certain
liberalization monetary policies of the IMF) at a comeback.
