Well sort of. This is a rather basic online phrase book, but
it does have handy phrases and, more than that, small sound files in MP3 to help with pronunciation. Let’s face it, if
you were to learn any language for the future, Chinese would have to be it, right? I mean, everybody’s talking about
how China will be the next big superpower, and you’d hate to be caught flat-footed (flat-tongued?) when the Chinese
take over the world. So when your future Chinese boss comes to visit and check on your work,
you might ask: Wo zen me cai neng
xue hao zhong wen? Or How long do you plan on being here? Or when he screams at you, Where have you been! You can
simply smile and say, Wo dao ce sou qu
le. Or, I’ve been to the bathroom. See, easy isn’t it? So start listening and dazzle your friends with your vast
knowledge of (Mandarin? Cantonese?) Chinese.
