I’ve never been much of a fan for chain hotels, though they do bring comfort when wanting to
recognize a name or something familiar from back home. What does interest me about
chains are those that span miles across and can be found in some of the wildest destinations around the world.
What makes them unique, like visiting the destination which they are located in, is how they embrace the architecture
as well as cultural aesthetics of the country.
Leave it to the international design interior and lifestyle freaks over at
Wallpaper* to leave us with a nice, short and sweet blurb
on the Four Seasons located on the Malaysian island of Langkawi. The Moorish and South Asian influenced interior
is quite worthy of some snapshots and will have you questioning whether this is really a chain or a great boutique
hotel after all. Of course the service will probably be standard to most Four
Room rates at Langkawi are from $410.
