As of right now I’m feeling I didn’t get the most out of my childhood, a little jilted, depressed and
even unloved perhaps?
Should I blame my folks, Santa or the people at the
Kansas City Star, who came
up with this nice little list of places to take the kiddies before they grow up? Though I’ve been to several
fascinating spots that didn’t make this list, I’ve only visited two of which are on the list and one as an
adult. So what grand destinations have they picked for you to spend mega vacation bucks on your kids?
-
Washington D.C.
-
Disneyland
-
The Grand Canyon
-
The Great Wall
-
Hong Kong
-
Paris
-
Taj Mahal
-
Machu Picchu
-
Angkor Wat
-
Jerusalem
You’d have to be one of the luckiest damn kids on Earth to explore all that before getting booted out into the real
world as an adult. But I’m also banking that many ”big kids” haven’t been to some of the places
listed here or any list of tens. Though I do feel introducing children to new exciting places and cultures is
important, you also want the little brats to appreciate what they’re seeing. However, the article says
you’ve got until they turn 18 to lend this very generous helping hand.
