Skater Jumps Great Wall

File this one under somewhat odd, but quite cool.

On his second attempt, Extreme Skateboarder Danny Way hit a ramp going
50 miles per hour, and then sailed over the Great Wall of China, nailing the landing and a spot in the record books by
becoming the first person to clear the wall without motorized aid. Amazing, huh?

After the jump, a slight trembling could be heard nearby as thousands of dead Mongols and would-be invaders turned
over in their graves, wishing they had thought of riding skateboards instead of cumbersome horses thousands of years
ago during attempts to breach the wall and invade China.
