Family Travel Made Easier

When you’re young, heading out to see the world is pretty damn easy. Contrary to what many people think, you don’t
need a lot of money to hiit the road. Staying in hostels in most places is cheap and if you ride the local
transportation like buses, trains and rickshaws, getting around won’t hurt your pocketbook. But for people who have
families, especailly young ones, it can be a good deal more difficult. It might be culturally enriching for your two
year old to sit next to a stack of chicken cages on a train in India, but the health benefits are suspect.

Transitions Abroad Magazine feels your pain…or at least is aware of
your concerns. And so they have posted a
series
of useful articles and how-to pieces to help take the sting out of family travel and to ease your concerns.
Many of the pieces are written by folks who have done the family travel thing, so presumably, they know what they are
talking about. A good series.
