West Hollywood is without a doubt one of the most colorful parts of Los Angeles. One of largest
mixture of eclectic folk from all over the planet can be found within its street
limits. This means you’ll probably take in a great deal of people watching (including celebs – if that’s your
thing), find an assortment of dining facilities, and if you plan to go in October you may have the opportunity to
participate in one of the best Halloween parades and parties in the world. If you decide to go take tons of
dinero, you’ll need it.
Staying in WeHo doesn’t have to cost you a fortune, but chances are it will. Especially if you want to glam it
up. The Visit West Hollywood site has
a nice list of hotels and budget motels for those planning ahead. My pull from the list is the swanky Mondrain
Hotel. What I like most is the interior designed by Philip Starck and its urban casual feel. There are 237 guest rooms
ranging from $310-$570. For that amount you should expect access to most if not all of the amenities including the
Skybar. If it doesn’t sound like the place for you worry not as there are several others to look into on the site.
