Another semi-pricey hotel and long term stay find and a
relatively good one if you’re heading to Hong Kong in the near future. For some reason the soft white and bone color
bedspreads with splashes of apricot hue in the threads makes me want to nestle into the accommodation for months.
Hints of color are found in a small purple vase in the corner of the studio floor or above the bed in a plain
light orangey color, framed canvas. The word DREAM sits on the wall in bold gray letters. Starting to
sound like hotel heaven in Hong Kong? Staying there for weeks at a time never sounds like a bad idea, but staying
at JIA makes it a better idea. You can take my word for it though it is only
my imagination that has rested there.
The boutique digs is one of the first Philippe Starck designed hotels in Asia, embracing nature as it’s theme. A
little feeling of home, a little of being away, JIA has packages for all types of travelers. Studio
one goes for 1,600 Hong Kong dollars, which roughly equals $205 on a nightly basis.
