Glass Bottom Walk for the Grand Canyon

It doesn’t take much to give me goose bumps when it comes to trekking through some of Mother
Nature’s most amazing natural wonders like the Grand Canyon. It’s one of
those breath-taking places swirling with vibrant red-orange hues, blue waters, and deep dusty canyons, one can’t
help to get caught up in its beauty. However, a local American Indian tribe wants to make a trip to the Grand
Canyon a little more exciting for some.
According to the Kansas City Star
there are plans to build a glass bottom walk that juts 70 feet from the canyon’s edge, sure to give thrill seekers a
goose pimple or two. The walkway will have both glass on the bottom and sides and is to be supported by steel beams. It
should be able to hold 120 people with a weight capacity of 72 million pounds. Admission will be set at $25 per person
to experience the canyon at new heights looking down 4,000 feet. Feeling queasy yet?
