Music and food compliment each other so well. Right now I’m listening to the sounds of an
awesome local reggae band called
Tribal Style and daydreaming about Jamaica. Funny how the music takes you
there and your taste buds too. Tonight I’m thinking about ackee and saltfish, a very popular Jamaican dish. Ackee
is the national fruit of Jamaica and is grown in very few places which may make this recipe a bit hard to accomplish
for some, but if you have the resources give it a shot. This particular recipe found at
Jamaicans dot com appears to be pretty easy and
with the right soundtrack in the background you should have no problem feeling irie after everything is all cooked up
to island perfection. So throw on some Marley, Tosh, Hammond, Third World, Tribal Style, or whatever tunes get
ya movin’ and start cookin’.
