What a simple, cool concept. Over the course of three months Simon Hoegsberg stopped 150 people at random and asked
them what they were thinking at the moment just prior. He recorded these along with the people’s photos and has
assembled them into a project called The Thought Project. Obviously some
of the stuff is mundane. One guy rues the fact that he forgot his camera, while another looks at Simon as he approaches
and thinks, “This guy is too tan to be from New York.” But some of them are hilarious, like the guy who is thinking
about playing hard to get with a girl he met, wondering if he should call her…OK, I guess that’s mundane, too. But
whatever. The whole thing taken together is a neat little glimpse into not just the lives of the folks who answer the
question, but our own.
