Even though
Stevie decided to leave the journey, the expedition
continues, and is currently on Leg 12 — a pedal
boat, kayak and bike trek from Darwin to Singapore.
Besides Jason Lewis (who Erik mentioned previously),
three other team members have been at it since May of this year. They have a
blog for their journey through Indonesia, and
yesterday’s
post reports
that they are in Bali preparing for a bike ride across the island of Java. They have completed 96 days and 849 nautical
miles. The entire leg of this journey measures 2,600 total miles, so there is still a ways to go. We’ll be sure to
check back with this group from time to time to see how things progress.
