The Guardian announced it’s 2005 Travel Awards in Sicily recently. Here’s the
list of winners, based on a reader survey
completed earlier in the year by over 27,000 respondents from The Guardian, Observer and Guardian Unlimited.
For the sixth year in a row, Edinburgh nabbed top honors for favorite UK city. Perth won for best overseas city and
Iceland for favorite European country. Awards were also granted for favorite travel agents, tour operators, and
transportation providers in a number of categories. The full program is available
