Kids can be cute and fun and interesting and wonderful. Just ask any parent. But they can also be noisy and
obnoxious and messy. Again, just ask any parent. I’ve been on many a plane ride with a screaming child and the
experience can be fricken awful. Thank God for noise-reduction headphones. The same goes with hotels. Ever tried to
sleep with a crying child in the next room?
So to deal with this problem folks at the Hotel Cortisen on Austria’s Wolfgangsee lake, announced that, as of next
May, his hotel would stop allowing families with kids under 12 to stay at the hotel. According to
this post at Luxist, that got the parents screaming,
too.
