Win a weekend at The Zetter

The prize for this week’s Conde Nast Traveller
competition is a stay at The
Zetter Hotel
in London. The old five-story warehouse in Clerkenwell was transformed into an
“urban inn” and opened in March 2004.

The village of
Clerkenwell is one of London’s oldest
neighborhoods. It
has rebounded from the days of Oliver Twist and now thrives with stylish
new restaurants and pubs mixed in among the historic buildings. This
interactive map of Clerkenwell provides a creative and somewhat
witty look at the area  — turn up the sound and find the House of Detention and Clerk’s Well on the historic
page.
Other landmarks include Smithfields Meat Market, St John’s
Gate, Charterhouse Square, and Clerkenwell Green.

If you win the CN contest, you get to go for free, but I think
you’ll be in luck even if you pay for a stay at The Zetter. Recent reviews praise the hotel for its good value and fine
restaurants, and the neighborhood seems like one that’s not to be missed.
