The American Bus Association recently released its list of Top 100 Events and Festivals for
2006. The list is meant for tour bus operators to use when planning their group travel offerings for the coming
year, but it is a handy resource for anyone in search of US and Canadian destination ideas. I often like to focus my
trip planning by keeping up to speed with events and festivals — it can be the reason I do or don’t decide to visit a
particular place at a certain time.
Each listing has dates, location and links to ABA’s short summary of the event, which includes contact info for the
tour bus operators, as well as URLs to the actual event websites — loads of great info organized chronologically and
ready for your review. There are some excellent festivals and celebrations included in this list…don’t be surprised if
