Gadling Book Features

The first day of a new month is always a good time to do some
tweaking on the site. Today we want to officially announce two features that we have already been doing here for
awhile. We just couldn’t decide what to call them! But now we’ve finally sorted things out. Here’s the deal on our two
book features:

Every day we will post one book suggestion, called One for the Road. Many of us
like to take books with us while traveling, or read adventures that take us places when we can’t get away ourselves.
The Gadling crew values the power of a good book, and will now be offering up a suggestion each and every day. It may
be a travel guide, atlas, short-story collection or non-fiction title, but it will always be travel-related. In most
cases, we have probably not read the book we suggest, but are passing it on to you guys because we think it sounds
cool.

Less frequently, we will actually give you feedback on a book that we’ve read. Gadling
Reads
will feature our own personal opinion on what we liked or disliked about a recent travel book, and
sometimes might review a book that we have already mentioned in our daily feature.

In both cases, we are always looking for a heads up on new and yet to be released titles, as well
as your favorite classic travel tales or guide books, so please use the tip
form
to send your suggestions our way.
