Flight Patterns

Here is a cool Quicktime video I just came
across — I’d call it an artsy aviation innovation. Electronic artist
Aaron Koblin took FAA flight pattern data from a research project and
created a funky clip set to music, that shares a unique perspective on flying the friendly skies. Kinda looks like
slo-mo fireworks to me. The FAA videos are cool too — no music on those, but distinct patterns are easy to observe. I
like how these videos make the experience of flying seem so effortless, whether for the plane or the person
flying.
