Write for Lonely Planet

So you’ve always wanted to write for Lonely Planet. Are you sure? You may
not know this, but travel guidebook writing is not all its cracked up to be. Sure, there’s travel. But there’s also
lots of bad food, late nights scribbling notes in the wicked heat, potential for debilitating disease, diarrhea,
vigorous attention to details, and lots of mattress sniffing. Yes, you’re job is NOT to go out and have a good time.
You’re job is to find out where others can go to have a good time. Then again, having your name emblazoned on the cover
of one of those books…well, that’s got to be pretty damn cool.

Well if you think you’re cut out for the job, head over to this
page
on the LP site where you can learn more about the type of folks LP is hiring. And good luck!
