Loewy Exhibit

The work of industrial design genius Raymond Loewy will begin a two year tour of the US after its current show at
Atlanta’s Museum of Design. You name it, Loewy probably
designed it. One of his favorite design areas was  transportation, and specifically in the automobile industry. He
was responsible for the design of several Studebaker models, and also created designs for planes and locomotives.
Examples of Loewy’s work can be seen online

here
and here. The actual traveling exhibit will make stops in
Stony Brook, Long Island; San Francisco, California; Catonsville, Maryland and Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 2006, with
additional city stops slated for 2007 and into early 2008.
